The Octan Pantheon

The Octan Pantheon consists of only four deities- Arwil, often called The Man Upstairs, Serebryt, Finnic, and Bianika.

Arwil is the chief deity of Octan, who is given credit for having created the world and is therefore considered to be the leader of the Four. His season is Winter, and his aspects are protection, knowledge, travel, commerce, and judgment. His sign is a set of scales.

Serebryt is the wife of Arwil, who he joined with to be his partner in all things, and a formidable goddess on her own. Her season is Autumn, and her aspects are peace (through force if necessary), birth & renewal, justice, medicine & healing, and home & family. Her sign is an open hand, palm up in offer.

Finnic is the elder child of Arwil and Serebryt. His season is Summer, and his aspects are crafting (smithing, woodworking/carpentry, stonemasonry, tailoring, etc), divination & fate, courage, adventure, and wisdom. His sign is a crossed hammer and trowel.

Bianika is the younger child of Arwil and Serebryt. Her season is Spring, and her aspects are joy, poetry & song, art, magic, and good fortune. Her sign is a lotus flower.

The Systar Pantheon

The Lost Goddess

There is a statue in Harmony City of a faceless woman bearing a lantern. The placard at the base of her monument declares her to be a goddess from before the Cataclasm, though her name and what she was goddess of have long since been lost.

Though the humans have lost all memory and record of her, the Systarians still tell stories of the Goddess who aided six mortals in their quest to put an end to a powerful threat that forever changed the world.

It’s how Systar came to be its own separate realm, after all.
